The Seattle Seahawks could be facing an offseason full of Russell Wilson drama. If they move on, which players would be the best replacement options?

When the 2022 NFL offseason is all said and done, will Russell Wilson still be the quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks? That will be one of the biggest and most interesting storylines to follow along with.

Of course, Wilson is not the only possible star quarterback who could be on the move in 2022.

All eyes will be on Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to open the 2022 offseason. Rodgers will have to decide what he wants to do as far as staying in Green Bay or leaving rather quickly after the season is over given these trades can be agreed to as early as February.

That could be the domino everyone waits for before anything else happens, but we’ve already been hearing significant rumors about Russell Wilson wanting to be traded away from the Seattle Seahawks for nearly a year now.

Specifically, there was a report that Wilson would prefer to be traded to the New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, or Denver Broncos.

To be absolutely, abundantly clear: The Seahawks are under no obligation to trade Russell Wilson.

That might shock a lot of people, but Wilson is under contract. They might wind up agreeing to trade him, and if they do, Wilson is going to get them a king’s ransom to end all king’s ransoms in a trade.

But what about the quarterback position?

Who would the Seattle Seahawks tab to replace Wilson in their starting lineup?

Let’s take a look through five of the top options that could be available to them.
