Option 3: Trade for Ravens backup QB Tyler Huntley

One option that I think a lot of teams could consider in the near future if they have a quarterback need for 2022? Swinging a trade for Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley.

Huntley has now made three appearances this season in which he has thrown 36 passes or more. In all three of those appearances, he completed over 70 percent of his throws.

In his most recent outing against the Green Bay Packers, he had a pair of passing touchdowns and a pair of rushing touchdowns as the Ravens nearly upset Aaron Rodgers and the Packers obviously without Lamar Jackson.

The former Utah star has really shown some nice things this season, albeit in a limited sample.

Greg Roman has done a tremendous job with a variety of quarterbacks through the year, and he’s likely poised to get hired as someone’s head coach in 2022.

Could the Ravens try to maximize their return value for Huntley in the 2022 offseason? They might be able to get a second-round pick for him at the very least with the way he has played.

Huntley would give the Seahawks a dual-threat option and a fun, ascending young player who could be a bridge or a long-term possibility.
