15. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. Arkansas. Treylon Burks. player. 53

15. Cleveland Browns: Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

Some of us wanted the Cleveland Browns to go for a wide receiver in the 2021 NFL Draft but much like Thanos, those visionaries were called madmen. Fast forward to Week 16 of the season and not one player in Cleveland has more than 478 yards — and only two receivers are over 300 with Donovan Peoples-Jones sitting at 478 yards and Jarvis Landry netting just 397.

Tight end David Njoku is between the two with 436 yards but no player on this roster is keeping defensive coordinators up trying to figure out how to stop the passing game. That’s why they absolutely have to go for a wideout with their first pick and in this mock. the best available is Treylon Burks from Arkansas.

Burks is a huge target at 6-foot-3 and 225-pounds and is averaging 16.4 yards per catch in his career. He would be a great fit in an offense that needs height, speed, and production at the position.

Texas AM. 16. 54. EDGE. DeMarvin Leal. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

16. Philadelphia Eagles: DeMarvin Leal, EDGE, Texas A&M

On the clock at No. 16 is the Philadelphia Eagles, who will be heard from a lot in Round 1. This selection is their own pick but they still have the rights to the Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins day one picks.

With their first move, they take Texas A&M defensive end DeMarvin Leal who is a 295-pound athletic freak. He moves like a player 40-pounds lighter and can hold up against the run and the pass. He should be a day one starter, helping to improve the Eagles defensive line.
