Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11-4) at New York Jets (4-11)

With only two weeks to go, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are cruising. They’ve already secured a spot in the playoffs, and now have their sights set on a first-round bye. Earning that would require them to take down the New York Jets here in Week 17.

Thankfully for the Buccaneers, that’s not too tall of a task. New York’s only recent wins have come against similarly struggling clubs, and it’s clear they’re far from a competitive squad. Although the Buccaneers can’t sleep at this point in the season, it shouldn’t take a herculean effort to get the win against Gang Green.

More than likely, this should be a cakewalk for Tampa Bay. I’d imagine they’ll move the ball with ease against the Jets’ average defense. What will help though is the fact that the New York offense simply isn’t good, which should allow the Buccaneers to dominate when their defense is on the field.

The Buccaneers were already one of the best teams in the league, and have enjoyed a clear road to the playoffs with some cupcake matchups. They need some help if they’re going to secure the top seed in the NFC, but keeping the wins coming won’t be difficult against the Jets.
