2021 NFL picks, score predictions for Week 17

Miami Dolphins (8-7) at Tennessee Titans (10-5)

Despite the fact that the Tennessee Titans are 10-5 and sitting near the top of the AFC standings, I haven’t been impressed with them all year long. It feels like they’re narrowly avoiding defeat and relying too heavily on their defense to escape with the win.

Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins have been gaining serious momentum as we near the end of the regular season. They’re currently on a seven-game winning streak and seem to just be hitting their stride. Not only is their defense quietly proving itself to be one of the best in the NFL, but even the Miami offense is playing well.

Just look at players like Tua Tagovailoa and Jaylen Waddle if you need proof. The Dolphins don’t possess one of the best offenses in the league, but it’s more than capable of producing points at a consistent clip. I don’t think I can say the same about Tennessee, although the return of A.J. Brown helps.

Either way, I see this one coming down to the wire with the Dolphins getting the last say. The Miami defense pulls in a crucial interception in the final seconds to secure their eighth-straight win and get one step closer to forcing their way into the AFC playoff picture.
