Dallas Cowboys Round 4 Pick: Romeo Doubs, WR, Nevada

With Michael Gallup and Cedrick Wilson both hitting free agency in the offseason, Dallas Could be in the market for some help at wide receiver. While they would love to bring both players back, Gallup is likely headed elsewhere since he’s deserving of a contract the Cowboys simply can’t afford.

Wilson could also generate more money on the open market but his return is still much more likely than Gallup’s. Even if they do get him back, they need to bring in some help which leads to the selection of Romeo Doubs in Round 4.

Doubs is a former track star who can burn defenses down the field. He’s a player who could be forgotten about due to this class being solid at wideout but could be a diamond in the rough.

Dallas Cowboys Round  5 Pick: Jarrett Patterson, IOL, Notre Dame

Although he’s been better as of late, Tyler Biadasz has had his share of struggles this season. Dallas might not want to outright replace him considering how much time they’ve invested in his development, but competition is always good for any position.

That’s why they take Jarrett Patterson in Round 5. The Notre Dame center is solid in space on screen passes and can hold his own against power rushers. He might not take the job from Biadasz but he could fill in if needed.
