FanDuel DFS NFL Week 17 picks and lineup advice: D/ST
The Patriots ($5000) obviously stand out as a great play this week, as there are very few scenarios where I can see the Jaguars cracking double-digit points, especially considering Trevor Lawrence has thrown one touchdown in the past two months.
However, with the expensive nature of the slate and the way FanDuel prices defenses, there will almost always be a cheaper option to exploit. I love both the Titans ($4000) and the Dolphins ($3600), which may sound counterintuitive, but I project a close low scoring game with plenty of turnovers and sacks to go around.
I lean to the Dolphins because of their cheaper price tag but you can not go wrong with either. I also think the Panthers ($3600) are a bit of a bargain this week against a Saints offense that lacks big-play ability and should be willing to grind the clock out against an anemic Panthers offense. If they hold the Saints under 20 points and grab a few turnovers, they will pay off this cheap salary.

This is certainly more of a cash lineup, as you may notice there is very little correlation especially playing the quarterback without any of his pass-catchers. While obviously, you do not have to have this exact lineup, I do think the way to go in cash formats this week is playing Trey Lance and Johnathan Taylor.
While experimenting with my cash lineup, I tried to squeeze both Taylor and Kupp in, and while it is certainly possible if you play a cheap quarterback, tight end, and defense, it also hinders your ability to play more expensive wide receivers.
Since there are very few cheap wide receiver options I like this week, I opted to stay away from Kupp. However your eventual lineup ends up looking, best of luck on your Week 17 DFS endeavors and get 2022 off to a good start!
