The playoff hopes for the Philadelphia Eagles are still there. They were just 5-7 a month ago and now reeled off four wins in a row, including a 20-16 win this past weekend against the Washington Football Team.

Now at 9-7, they can fight their way into the postseason but expectations should be tempered. While they can only play the teams on their schedule, the Eagles’ four wins lately were against Washington twice as well as the New York Jets and New York Giants.

They still need to prove they can hang with winning teams — but at least it looks as though they will get a chance to do just that.

Hunter Renfrow didn’t score the touchdown, but he was still the hero. Late in the Las Vegas Raiders win over the Indianapolis Colts, Renfrow hauled in a deep pass and took it 48-yards to the house. Upon review though, it was determined he was touched as he slipped, meaning he was down at the Indianapolis 24.

While that seemed to be a blessing for the Colts, it really wasn’t. Renfrow being down meant the Raiders could run the clock down to two seconds and kick a 33-yarder for the win, which they did. Now at 9-7, Vegas is still alive despite so many reasons that they could have fallen apart.
