The Denver Broncos entered Week 17 with a very small chance of making a run but it didn’t take long for that flame to be dampened. The Los Angeles Chargers controlled their game from the beginning as Denver lost another one with Drew Lock starting for them.

Lock, who was starting in place of Teddy Bridgewater, is apparently not the guy — and we all knew Bridgewater was nothing more than a stop-gap player. Now, the question will be what the Denver front office does about it.

Do they try another season with TBH20, or will John Elway make a play for a free agent? With their draft position, it feels as though those are the main options for them in 2022.

19. New Orleans Saints

In one of the least entertaining games of the weekend, the New Orleans Saints improved to 8-8 as they beat the Carolina Panthers 18-10. Taysom Hill had one of his best games as a starting quarterback, throwing for 222 yards with a touchdown and a pick while adding 45 yards on the ground.

Alvin Kamara struggled on the ground but had 68 yards receiving and a touchdown and Marquez Callaway added 97 yards on six receptions. The 8-8 record is impressive for the Saints who have been dealing with a lot of injuries this season and keep fighting. That’s been a huge win for Sean Payton this season.

As for losses, the biggest has to be the Kevin James trailer where he plays Sean Payton. That’s going to be hard to recover from.
