2021 NFL picks, score predictions for Week 18

New York Jets (4-12) at Buffalo Bills (10-6)

Based on their records, you would think this would be a no-brainer. As you might already know, it’s not that easy. Despite the New York Jets’ rough go of things in 2021, they’ve been surprisingly competitive down the stretch — just ask the Buccaneers.

And it’s not like the Buffalo Bills have been the most consistent of teams this season. One game, they’re thrashing another playoff hopeful. The next, they’re losing to the Jaguars. The Bills are like a box of chocolates — you never know what you’re going to get.

Still, I’m going to give this one to the Bills because, in theory, they should dominate this one. The Jets are 4-12 for a reason, with their offense often struggling and their defense having a tough time slowing down above-average offenses. Buffalo happens to have one of those, which would seem to suggest the Bills get it done to secure the division crown.

As long as Josh Allen doesn’t turn the ball over again and again, the Bills should walk away with the win and division. With that said, don’t be surprised if the Jets make this one more interesting than it probably should be.
