47. Scouting Report. Head Coach. New England Patriots. Bill Belichick. player. Pick Analysis. 2

After a 7-9 season in 2020 and missing the playoffs, the criticism towards Bill Belichick only grew when Tom Brady won Super Bowl LV. Since then, the hoodie spent the bag in free agency and, for the most part, got a good return on his investments, notably Hunter Henry and Matt Judon. Now, the Patriots are in contention for a division title yet again.

If anything, Belichick needs to be in consideration just for winning a game with a game plan entirely based on running the football with a sporadic threat of a passing attack. Also, he has not won the award in close to a decade, so maybe we can give him some love?

At this point, Bill would instead prefer a Super Bowl title, and while that award is so prestigious, winning one without No.12 as his quarterback would be monumental. Moreover, Belichick has done so much this season, with a rookie Mac Jones leading the offense. Not bad and worthy of praise among his peers in the NFL.
