If the Green Bay Packers lose Aaron Rodgers in 2022, would they move forward with Jordan Love or would they add someone else? We look at options.

The Green Bay Packers are the best team in the NFL after 17 weeks of regular season play. The Packers should be considered favorites to represent the NFC in this year’s Super Bowl, but as Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams alluded to before the season started, could this truly be the “Last Dance” for no. 12 in Titletown?

At this point, it seems like things have gotten to a point where Aaron Rodgers returning to the Packers in 2022 is not as unlikely as it once seemed. With that being said, could Rodgers win a title this year and walk off into the sunset? That is possible. Could he force a trade out of town after this year?

That is also possible.

Although one obvious scenario exists, what might Brian Gutekunst and Matt LaFleur do at the quarterback position in 2022 if Rodgers is gone one way or another?

Let’s take a look through some intriguing options, starting with the most obvious…

Who could replace Aaron Rodgers with the Packers in 2022?

1. Jordan Love

This is the most obvious and probably the most likely option if Rodgers leaves for another team or retires in 2022.

The Packers used a first-round pick on Love, and the lack of communication about this decision with Rodgers has been a huge part of why we are where we are today in the first place.

Rodgers has been vocal about the fact that he doesn’t have anything against Jordan Love, personally, but obviously, the process by which the Packers went about acquiring him rubbed the MVP the wrong way.

Love is a young QB with plenty of talent and upside. The Packers clearly haven’t been eager to move on from Rodgers to get him on the field, but perhaps the timing will be right in 2022.
