2. Gardner Minshew (Eagles, trade)

If the Packers want to stick it out with Jordan Love in the event that Aaron Rodgers moves on after the season, one really intriguing option they could potentially look into adding via trade is Gardner Minshew of the Eagles.

Minshew is someone who could, in theory, come in for the Packers next season and compete with Love and give the Packers a higher floor at the QB position without Rodgers in the picture.

Minshew did some really solid work with the Jacksonville Jaguars, obviously not proving that he would be a preferable alternative to Trevor Lawrence, but on a team like the Packers with a strong running game to lean on, Minshew could be a solid fit.

Counting less than a million bucks against the 2022 salary cap, the work Minshew has done in relief of Jalen Hurts this year has only increased his trade value and for a team like the Packers that is a legitimate Super Bowl contender, this guy would, at the very least be a solid backup option with upside to young Jordan Love.

On over 500 career passing attempts, Minshew has completed over 63 percent of his passes with 39 touchdowns and only 11 interceptions. Not many of his peers from the 2019 NFL Draft class have numbers even close to that (outside of Kyler Murray).
