Antonio Brown’s podcast comments have destroyed any notion that he will ever reunite with Tom Brady at any point in the future.

If you thought Antonio Brown hasn’t acted a fool enough, his latest comments on his former quarterback in Tom Brady will have you face-palming yourself.

While appearing on the Full Send Podcast following his public release from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brown had some choice words about Brady, and it has now gotten to a point where you look at Brown and wonder when he’s going to get the help he needs.

Brady can’t do anything by himself? Excuse me? A quarterback needs wide receivers, that’s for sure. But Brady had won championships well before he ever teamed up with Brown. Six of them, to be correct, and his wide receiver cores were not as talented as what he has in Tampa. Also, Brown did stay at Brady’s house as opposed to what he regurgitated, so what is Brown talking about?

Remember the Super Bowl postgame press conference that Brown gave last February after Tampa Bay beat Kansas City? When Brown was talking about how grateful he was to Brady, especially after Brown caught a touchdown in the game? Looks like that was all for the camera based on his most recent actions.

Also, what about the text messages made public by Brown about his conversations with Brady’s trainer Alex Guerrero? How about what he said about head coach Bruce Arians? Injuries or not, why did there have to be a public display? Why could this not be solved behind the cameras even if Brown was correct about his injuries? To make a long story short, unbelievable.

But it is believable. This is who Antonio Brown is. When things are going well, he’s all smiles, and his charismatic smile is up there with the best of them. When things go wrong, he’s demonstrative and making headlines for the wrong reasons, lashing out on social media for public attention.

Antonio Brown destroyed his reputation with Tom Brady after the quarterback vouched for him at every opportunity

Let it be clear, Brady does deserve some blame for enabling Brown to be on the roster. He vouched for him, and he got him on the team and won a championship. He also tried to force-feed Brown the targets needed for incentives, so he’s not entirely innocent in this matter.

But he is in no way responsible for these comments that Brown made. He did not ask for this to happen, and frankly, he should be left alone. One of Brady’s critics, Pro Football Hall of Famer, and Undisputed co-host Shannon Sharpe, vehemently took his side and defended him,  citing that Brown wrecked his chances after Brady lent him a hand and embarrassed himself.

Keep in mind, Sharpe said back in 2016 after Antonio Brown went Facebook Live in the locker room that the Pittsburgh Steelers needed to move on from him. Safe to say, the great tight end was right all along.

This is an absolute travesty, and at this point, Antonio Brown shouldn’t be playing on the football field; he should be getting help. Tom Brady tried to help the man, and it backfired badly.

Even with a Super Bowl ring coming as a result of this partnership, it’s best to assume that Brady cares as much about his relationships with people in addition to his known obsession with winning football games.
