The NFL coaching carousel is spinning. Where they go no one knows but pairing them is always fun.

NFL fans are gearing up for the playoffs, but there’s something else fun to watch about this time of the year, the coaching carousel. Right now, it’s still turning, and no one knows where any of the hot coaching names will go.

Eight teams are searching for a head coach; Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Las Vegas Raiders, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, and New York Giants.

Predicting the best candidates for each NFL opening in 2022

Of these coach needy teams, three of them are also in need of a general manager. Needless to say, it’s tough to predict who will go where. That’s doesn’t have to stop anyone from playing the guessing game.

There are two names you will not see on this list. Jim Harbaugh (Michigan) is one of those names. While the rumors suggest these two have the league’s attention, there hasn’t been any palpable news to say they’re leaving College Football. When asked, Harbaugh made a bit of a joke about the rumors this season.

"“[The rumors are] a little more enjoyable this year compared to the rumors last year, so,”"

It doesn’t mean Harbaugh can’t swerve Michigan and coach the Raiders or Dolphins. As of now, let’s assume he’s all in after finally getting over that Ohio State hump.

Speaking of Ohio State, Ryan Day is the other name I didn’t consider for this list. There isn’t much evidence that says he’s interested in leaving the Buckeyes. Nevertheless, there are a ton of hot coordinators and ex-head coaches who’ll fit perfectly with these needy teams.
