EDGE. David Ojabo. 54. Scouting Report. Michigan. 19. player. Pick Analysis

19. Philadelphia Eagles: David Ojabo, EDGE, Michigan

They took linebacker Nakobe Dean with their first pick and wide receiver Treylon Burks with their second. Now, the Philadelphia Eagles are back on the clock for their third selection in the opening round of the 2022 NFL Draft and they go back after a defensive player as they take Michigan EDGE David Ojabo.

A breakout star in 2021, Ojabo went from one tackle in his sophomore campaign to 35 with 11 sacks this season. He parlays that success into a berth in Round 1 here and the Eagles can use a player with his explosiveness off the edge.

They had a lot of success with Brandon Graham from Michigan back in 2010 and could find their next stud on the D-line by taking another Wolverine.

Pick Analysis. QB. 20. 55. Scouting Report. Liberty. Malik Willis. player

20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Malik Willis, QB, Liberty

Ben Roethlisberger had one heck of a goodbye run down the stretch — and it somehow ended with him and the Pittsburgh Steelers making the postseason. Now, the question is whether or not they can keep it going as they take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card Round.

Whatever happens there, the fact is, they need to turn the page in 2022 for the health of the team long-term. They could try and go with Mason Rudolph or Dwayne Haskins but neither has proven they can be the future. That’s why another name is thrown in the mix as they use their pick in Round 1 on Malik Willis from Liberty.

A dual-threat who can do as much damage with his legs as his arm, Willis could be the playmaker this offense needs to take their next step.
