21. New England Patriots: Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida

The New England Patriots ended up making it to the postseason and they even made an impressive run at the AFC East in the process. While they lost out to Buffalo, they did prove they belong in the conversation for AFC contenders and the arrow is only pointing up for them as Mac Jones led the way during an impressive rookie season.

Of course, Jones got a lot of help from a very strong defense as the Pats have always prided themselves in being able to go up against any offense in the NFL. That continues to be the case and they make things even more difficult for those who have to face them in 2022 as they add Kaiir Elam from Florida.

Starting him across from J.C. Jackson gives New England one of the better secondaries in the conference, and will help them as they look to overtake the Bills this coming season.

Charles Cross. player. Pick Analysis. OT. Mississippi State. 22. 59. Scouting Report

22. Miami Dolphins (via San Francisco 49ers): Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State

There were a lot of heads turned when it was announced the Miami Dolphins fired head coach Brian Flores following two winning seasons in a row where the team just missed the playoffs. While he did struggle against elite teams, he had them trending in the right direction – but apparently, there was more going on behind the scenes.

As for their roster, it gets strengthened here with the addition of Charles Cross from Mississippi State. He’s a stalwart left tackle that could help shore up the Dolphins’ struggling line.
