Packers get a steal to close out 2022 NFL mock draft

OT. Trevor Penning. 31. player. 35. Scouting Report. Northern Iowa. Pick Analysis

31. Tennessee Titans: Trevor Penning, OT, Northern Iowa

Even with Derrick Henry missing more than half the season, the Tennessee Titans locked up the No. 1 seed in the AFC. They still won’t get the credit they deserve until they can knock off a powerhouse such as the Kansas City Chiefs but with Henry back for the playoffs, and them playing at home, anything is possible.

While they’re still in playoff mode, we can take the time to look ahead and pick which prospect would best improve their roster. Here, we go with Trevor Penning from Northern Iowa who would help replace what they had in Jack Conklin at right tackle — and what they thought they were getting in Isaiah Wilson.

49. WR. Alabama. Jameson Williams. 32. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player

32. Green Bay Packers: Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama

In the NCAA Championship Game, Jameson Williams suffered a torn ACL. The Alabama wideout was likely to challenge Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave for the top receiver spot but his injury could scare some teams off.

That ends up being good news for the Green Bay Packers who can use some help at the position ‚— and end up with a top-15 talent at pick 32. Of course, Williams might not be ready by Week 1, but even if he’s not, they will be getting an explosive receiver who they can have under contract for five seasons.

Now, if they can get Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams to return, this could again be the most dangerous team in the NFC.
