FanDuel DFS NFL Wild Card Round picks and lineup advice: 49ers vs Cowboys

49ers vs Cowboys (-3, O/U 50 Points)

Many will be quick to lock Dak Prescott ($8000) into their lineup, but he is actually one of my favorite fades of the week. The 49ers like to control the pace of the game and are getting some valuable pieces back in the secondary. If the Cowboys’ offense is not able to play at the pace they normally play at, which is second in the NFL, Prescott may have a hard time generating fantasy points.

Meanwhile, I think there could be some room for Jimmy Garoppolo ($6800) to find success across the middle of the field where Dallas has been weaker.

Eli Mitchell ($7400) is a fantastic play this week against a Dallas defense that has been struggling against the run, especially considering he has completely taken over the running back position on his team.

Tony Pollard ($5700) could also be an interesting play if you believe in the narrative that he is a more effective running back than Ezekiel Elliot ($7700) as if there were a time to give him more carries, the playoffs would be that game.

Deebo Samuel ($8700) is one of the best offensive players in the NFL and should be able to find success in the rush and pass game this week. With his ability to turn any touch into a big play, he is fantastic in both tournaments and cash formats.

CeeDee Lamb ($7300) and Amari Cooper ($7100) are also both strong plays, but since I project a lower volume passing offense for Dallas, I would not recommend playing both in the same lineup.

Brandon Aiyuk ($6100) has also been a consistent part of the Niners offense as of late and should remain involved here although we have yet to see him have a monster game.

George Kittle ($6500) is also way too cheap for the talent he has, and even though he has posted three abysmal games in a row, he has the talent to post a slate changing stat line every week.
