FanDuel DFS NFL Wild Card Round picks and lineup advice: Cardinals vs Rams

Cardinals vs Rams (-4, O/U 49.5 Points)

A nice divisional matchup to finish off the first round of the playoffs, and Vegas projects a high-scoring affair between the Rams and the Cardinals. Kyler Murray ($8200) projects to be a strong play with his rushing and passing dual-threat, but he has been a below-average player for fantasy in recent weeks.

Matthew Stafford ($7600) has had his own share of troubles, but has a slightly better matchup than Murray and is at a much more affordable price.

At running back, Sony Michel ($6700) is very intriguing, especially if you believe Cam Akers ($5400) will not play much of a role in this game similar to last week. However, if you think Akers sees an increased workload and potentially outsnaps Michel, he becomes a great play against a poor Arizona rush defense.

James Conner ($8000) is very expensive but should see a majority of the backfield touches if Chase Edmonds is to sit. While I would not touch him if Edmonds is active, he could be an interesting tournament play if he has the backfield to himself.

At the receiver position, Cooper Kupp ($10000) is always going to be a fantastic play, but I do think there is some value this week in fading him by playing Odell Beckham Jr. ($6200) or Van Jefferson Jr. ($5700) as players who could deliver if they find the end zone as opposed to Cooper Kupp.

On the Cardinals side, there is no clear-cut WR1, but I still think Christian Kirk ($6200) is the player you want on your roster if any. He has the ability to break a big play and should see heavy volume with the Cardinals projected to play from behind.

Finally, Zach Ertz ($5800) is ridiculously cheap for the volume he has been seeing and is one of the safest plays on the slate.
