Dallas Cowboys Round 4 pick: JoJo Domann, LB, Nebraska

In 2021, the linebacker corps in Dallas underwent a lot of changes. They brought in rookie Micah Parsons and free agent Keanu Neal. They also moved on from Jaylon Smith early in the season, which eliminated a huge hole in the middle of their defense.

There could be even more changes in 2022 as Leighton Vander Esch hits free agency — although he did make a heck of a tackle in the Wild Card Round on Deebo Samuel to give his team one last shot at trying to win.

With all that being said, they start to add more depth to the group with JoJo Domann from Nebraska. A fifth-year senior, Domann had 71 tackles, two picks, and three pass defenses this season. He should be able to help contribute on special teams while having the talent to develop down the road.

Dallas Cowboys Round 5 pick: Akayleb Evans, CB, Missouri

Dallas likes their cornerbacks to be tall, long, and physical. That’s exactly what they get in Missouri’s Akayleb Evans who stands 6-foot-2 and 198-pounds. He’s a punishing tackler but he does get too physical at times which could hurt his stock.

If the Cowboys can get him to know when he can use his hands and avoid penalties, this could end up being a steal this late.
