Philadelphia Eagles: Jalen Hurts

Where will the Philadelphia Eagles land after the 2021 season? Obviously, this was not a team many expected to make it to the playoffs in the first place, but then they did, and they were incredibly disappointing against the Buccaneers.

Howie Roseman is generally one of the most aggressive general managers in the NFL when it comes to trades, so it would be shocking if he wasn’t, at least on some level, looking to make a move for a quarterback.

Hurts is a great fallback but Roseman has three first-round picks and could go after an upgrade if one is available. Who might that be? Could the Eagles convince Russell Wilson he should go to Philadelphia? What about Aaron Rodgers?

I think the most likely trade option for Philly is Deshaun Watson, but time will tell whether the Eagles are on Watson’s list or if his situation will even be in a place to be considered an option this offseason for teams.

We know Howie Roseman is not going to sleep a lot this offseason knowing he took a roster that many thought was depleted and on the downswing to the playoffs with the excellent selections of Hurts and obviously Heisman winner DeVonta Smith, who was a star as a rookie.
