2022 NFL Mock Draft: Chiefs land potential super star, Cowboys bolster line

19. Philadelphia Eagles: DeMarvin Leal, EDGE, Texas A&M
Now the Philadelphia Eagles are back on the clock with their own selection in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft and they use that to beef up their defensive line. Their selection is DeMarvin Leal from Texas A&M who spent time at both defensive tackle and defensive end for the Aggies.
His size (6-foot-4, 290-pounds) suggests he should be an interior player but the truth is, he was much better on the edge — which is where the Eagles would want to line him up. He has more than enough strength to hold up in the run game while also possessing plenty of athleticism to get past tackles and harass the opposing quarterback.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Malik Willis, QB, Liberty
It was a tearful farewell for Ben Roethlisberger who has seen his journey as the starting quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers come to an end. They will need to replace him and anyone who thinks Mason Rudolph can be the leader of a franchise needs to re-think things. Rudolph can be a decent backup but that’s his ceiling.
For that reason, Pittsburgh goes after Malik Willis with this pick as they bring in one of the more exciting prospects in this class. Willis would bring a burst of energy to the offense with his speed and the talent around him on the Steelers’ offense would help him have success as a starter.
