2022 NFL Mock Draft: Chiefs land potential super star, Cowboys bolster line

21. New England Patriots: Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida
The Bills knocked the New England Patriots out of the playoffs and after the game, they were boasting about how the dynasty was over. Well, the Tom Brady one is since he’s gone but this version of the Patriots is just getting started.
New England rebounded from their first losing season in 20 years as they made it back to the playoffs and were even in the race for the AFC East title for a while near the end of the season. That was with a rookie quarterback under center, so they’re only going to get better as he improves.
Having said all that, they’re still a team that wins primarily with defense and they continue to stockpile talent on that side with the addition of Kaiir Elam, a talented corner from Florida with NFL bloodlines.
22. Las Vegas Raiders: Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas
It was a bit surprising to see the Las Vegas Raiders put all the issues they went through this season behind them and somehow still make the playoffs. Even being a first-round knockout was respectable considering how much they endured.
Now, they’re going to have a new general manager and new head coach — which means they could go with someone other than an Alabama player here. They do this as they add Treylon Burks from Arkansas, giving them a big-bodied receiver to add alongside Hunter Renfrow, who really took off for them this season.
