2022 NFL Mock Draft: Chiefs land potential super star, Cowboys bolster line

25. Buffalo Bills: Trent McDuffie, CB, Washington
The 2021 season ended the same way the 2022 season did for the Buffalo Bills, with a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. They fought hard all season but once again, the firepower that Patrick Mahomes and company brought to the table was too much.
One of the problems was the loss of cornerback Tre’Davious White. With him out due to an injury, the Bills just couldn’t slow down the Chiefs. Even before this game, they knew they needed some help at cornerback and that’s even more evident now.
In an effort to address the position, they snatch up Trent McDuffie from Washington. Buffalo should remain one of the top teams in the AFC and adding McDuffie will help them continue on that path.
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Roger McCreary, CB, Auburn
If it wasn’t obvious before, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers need to get better in the secondary. Their defense has a lot of talent but they just gave up 366 yards to Matthew Stafford in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Even worse, was Cooper Kupp beating them for 20 and 44 yards on the game-winning drive.
They look to address that here as they take Roger McCreary out of Auburn. He’s good enough to slow down opposing offenses which will help them tremendously. Of course, the real question is what’s about to happen to Tom Brady who is rumored to be considering retirement.
