2022 NFL Mock Draft: Chiefs land potential super star, Cowboys bolster line

29. Miami Dolphins (via San Francisco 49ers): Darian Kinnard, OT, Kentucky
One of the more shocking firings of this offseason was when the Miami Dolphins moved on from Brian Flores. He never took them to the playoffs but he did have a winning season in each of his first two campaigns.
Having said that, there were apparently some issues between him and the quarterback and when the team drafts one as high as they took Tua Tagovailoa, the quarterback will usually win that battle.
Here, they look to continue to build up this roster that has been winning as they take Darian Kinnard from Kentucky. Another big offensive lineman comes in that can help them make sure they get the most they can out of Tua.
30. Cincinnati Bengals: Trevor Penning, OT, Northern Iowa
Saturday was a really huge win for the Cincinnati Bengals but they had to overcome a lot of their own issues in that win. Joe Burrow was lights out when he was throwing, and Ja’Marr Chase showed off how special he truly is.
The problem is, Burrow also had to overcome a beating. He was sacked nine times as the Bengals offensive line had no answers for the Titans pass rush. While it made sense they went for Chase instead of Penei Sewell, they do have to add some help this offseason.
That’s what they do with the selection of Trevor Penning from Northern Iowa. He doesn’t come from a power-five school but Penning has everything you need in a starting tackle and the Bengals will be asking him to do that from day one.
