Buffalo Bills free agent target No. 2: Jadeveon Clowney, EDGE

After a less-than-stellar season with the Seattle Seahawks in 2019, former No. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney hit the open market. However, due to his injury history — as well as recording only three sacks in his lone season with Seattle — Clowney found limited suitors in free agency.

He wound up choosing the Tennessee Titans, who gave him a one-year deal. Unfortunately, he had another injury that cost him half the season and he finished with zero sacks in eight games. He was again looking for a new home after that and this time, he landed with the Cleveland Browns on another one-year deal.

This time, he made the most of this chance as he wound up with nine sacks, just a half-sack shy of his personal best. And while the Browns would love to have him back playing across from Myles Garrett, there’s no guarantee they can make it work.

If he does end up leaving, the Bills could offer him an attractive place to play simply due to the fact that they have made a couple of deep playoff runs in a row. For Buffalo, it would be a wise move as it would give them someone capable of getting after the quarterback, something every team can use more of.
