Another dominant regular season by the Green Bay Packers to fall short and in a home playoff game as the number one overall seed. A murky off-season looms.

The Green Bay Packers were once again the best overall team in the regular season. Aaron Rodgers won his fourth MVP award and second in a row.

All that said, it does not mean a thing after the divisional choke job the Packers displayed vs the San Francisco 49ers at home. An offseason with numerous decisions to be made leaves the future in Green Bay in a bubble that can pop based on number 12’s decision.

Another waste of a season for the Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers finished with a 13-4 record and the number one overall seed this season. That did not mean anything to the Niners who went to Green Bay, scored no offensive touchdowns, and still managed to come out with the victory.

Aaron Rodgers and the offense were held to 10 points and Rodgers fell now to 0-4 in his postseason career vs the Niners. It is comical that the team that passed on him so many years ago continues to cause chaos in his career so often.

Davante Adams finished as the WR2 this season and Rodgers will win another MVP but that all feels wasted with such a disappointing finish. The finish to this season was more disappointing than the Cowboys’ irresponsible play call in their Wild Card matchup vs the Niners.

This was the year everything was supposed to click for the Green Bay Packers. Injuries to the Bucs offensive weapons, the Cardinals slumping, and owning Matthew Stafford plus the Dallas Cowboys their entire career, it was time for Rodgers to get ring number two.
