The Green Bay Packers 2022 offseason

Will Aaron Rodgers take the route of Peyton Manning and Tom Brady? Leave the team they created their legacy and go win elsewhere? Or will he take the route of Eli Manning and just hang it up for good?

That is on the mind of everyone associated with the Green Bay Packers this offseason. After that, the task of keeping Davante Adams follows. Adams is set to be a free agent and wants to be the highest-paid receiver in the NFL.

With good reasoning too, Adams is the best receiver and overall one of the best players in the entire league. If keeping Adams will make the franchise quarterback content, that is something no one should even think about.

If Adams leaves, Rodgers will follow, and then something the Packers haven’t felt in almost 30 years will happen. A rebuild will commence and the NFC North will belong to another franchise.

Everything else should follow after those two are happy. Adams and Rodgers are the best duo in the NFL and the Packers will regret it for the rest of time if they let those two walk.

Final thoughts

Something has got to give this off-season. This was one of the best teams Rodgers has had in his career and the job was not accomplished. With the talent Rodgers has, having only one super bowl ring back in 2011 is underwhelming.

No one will remember 2011. They will remember the losses in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2019, and now 2021. It hurts typing that being a Packers fan, but the truth hurts. Green Bay Packer fans, let’s be strong because this offseason is going to be franchise-changing.
