Philadelphia Eagles: Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah

Over the course of the week of festivities at the Senior Bowl, you can expect to hear a ton about Utah linebacker Devin Lloyd.

It wouldn’t be shocking to see him as one of the first players from this prospect crop drafted in 2022.

If the top-10 is in Lloyd’s future, the Philadelphia Eagles will not be. The linebacker position tends to get undervalued in the NFL Draft, however, so the Eagles might stand a pretty good chance of landing one of the most productive players in college football this past season, regardless of position.

Lloyd had 111 total tackles this past season with a whopping 22 tackles for loss, seven sacks, four interceptions, and six passes broken up.

He was all over the field, and he’s exactly the type of playmaker this Philadelphia Eagles team needs.

Defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon turned his unit around at the midway point of the season as the Eagles scraped and clawed their way into the playoffs. As successful as that turnaround was, this is a team that needs help at all three levels and Devin Lloyd can make it feel like you’ve got 12 defenders running around out there.
