Houston Texans: Chad Muma, LB, Wyoming

Where do the Houston Texans begin with addressing their long list of needs heading into the 2022 offseason?

Thankfully for the Texans, they don’t have to force any positions in the 2022 NFL Draft because they have so many needs on both sides of the football.

As it relates to the Senior Bowl, I really just took a shot here on someone that I felt could really be a huge boost on the defensive side of the ball for the Houston Texans immediately.

It won’t matter if Chad Muma goes to the best team in the league or the worst, I think he’s going to make someone’s defense substantially better.

Since the San Francisco 49ers unearthed Fred Warner out of BYU in the third round a few years back, teams have been trying to figure out how they can do that same exact thing with other prospects.

Chad Muma will be the next “Warner” type of prospect teams can get excited about with his 6-foot-3, 245-pound frame and ridiculous play speed and range.

He’s just such an instinctive player and as the Texans rebuild, I think he can be a centerpiece of their defense.
