Buffalo Bills: Derion Kendrick, CB, Georgia

After the defensive debacle with 13 seconds left against the Kansas City Chiefs, do we think there’s any chance the Buffalo Bills won’t be attempting to upgrade their secondary in 2022?

Additionally, we could see them try to go after some playmakers on the defensive front who can get after the quarterback in a hurry.

As for one player in the 2022 Senior Bowl that the Buffalo Bills should be targeting? Georgia cornerback and former Clemson transfer Derion Kendrick may need to be near the top of the list.

A former wide receiver, Kendrick knows how to make a play on the ball when it’s in the air, and he did exactly that over the course of this last season with Georgia on their dominant defense.

Kendrick finished his lone season as a Bulldog with four interceptions and solidified his status as one of the best cornerbacks in the class of 2022.

After being kicked out of the Clemson program, Kendrick really turned himself around and moving on to the NFL, a team and culture like the one being built with the Buffalo Bills would actually make a lot of sense.

The Bills are a tight-knit group and adding a piece like this, Kendrick would join a team that has way more than just a solid foundation.

And he might help the Bills get over the hump in the postseason with a game-changing interception or two.
