Miami Dolphins: Max Mitchell, OL, Louisiana

The Miami Dolphins need to do all they can in the 2022 offseason to protect Tua Tagovailoa.

If they are going to stay out of the sweepstakes for players like Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, and Deshaun Watson, investing in Tua’s protection is a must.

Although he may not be the flashiest player on the Senior Bowl roster, Louisiana offensive tackle Max Mitchell might be one of the most consistent and NFL-ready guys.

I think Mitchell is a plug-and-play starting right tackle in the NFL and that’s something the Dolphins have been searching for.

Drafting Mitchell in round two or three would allow the Dolphins to kick another former Ragin Cajun permanently to the guard position and sleep well at night knowing they have a couple of athletic, aggressive maulers on the right side of that young and talented offensive line.

I think if you’re the Miami Dolphins, you take this guy in round two and don’t think twice about it. He’ll be a stud for a long time in the NFL.
