Minnesota Vikings: Coby Bryant, CB, Cincinnati

The Minnesota Vikings need help on both sides of the ball, but they should prioritize the defensive side of the ball in the 2022 NFL Draft, no question about it.

They need help in the pass defense department, not just at the cornerback position but rushing the passer as well.

This year’s cornerback class should have plenty of intriguing talent for the Vikings to look into in the first year under general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah.

Adofo-Mensah just came to the Vikings from a Cleveland Browns program that, in recent years, had really begun to prioritize the secondary heavily, and they saw that pay some nice dividends even though the team success was not where anyone wanted it to be.

A player like Coby Bryant in the Vikings’ defensive backfield would be a huge upgrade.

With four years under his belt in a very tough and stingy Cincinnati defense, Bryant picked off nine passes and broke up 35 more. He added four forced fumbles over the course of his collegiate career and that kind of ball production along with his intriguing size (6-1, 200) would be great for the Vikings.
