With rumors swirling around numerous quarterbacks possibly being on the move, is it worth going for a top guy, or are there mid-tier guys with potential?

This NFL off-season will be one to remember. It is in the air for insane, game-changing moves to be made. Tom Brady is gone and so is Big Ben. That leaves with Tampa, Pittsburgh, and a handful of other teams with a need at the quarterback position.

Let’s look into the three quarterbacks who aren’t at the top of the mountain but have potential with the right system to be successful.

NFL QB prediction #1: Jimmy Garappolo to the Panthers

First of all, Jimmy Garappolo is a system quarterback. Once someone fits that system better, there is no need for Jimmy G. Prime example is what has happened in San Francisco.

There is a 100% chance that everyone knew if the Niners lost vs the Rams, it was the end of the Jimmy G era. Jimmy has shown flashes of being able to lead a team, but then reminds everyone he is not it all in the same span.

Jimmy G is not as bad as everyone makes him out to be. It is okay to be a middle-of-the-pack quarterback. They almost had it in 2019 where Jimmy G had 27 touchdowns, 13 interceptions, and 3978 passing yards.

SInce 2018, Jimmy Garappolo has had the 7th best QB completion percentage. The Panthers seem like a nice fit for Jimmy G.

Garoppolo needs weapons around him and the Panthers have that in DJ Moore, Christian McCaffrey, and hopefully, Terrace Marshall Jr has a bounce-back season.

As everyone saw last year, Sam Darnold looked like the Panthers found their guy, but then quickly found out, things were not headed in the right direction.

With the young offensive core, the Panthers need to act now and go for an out-of-the-park swing. If they don’t hit it a home run, a double in Jimmy G will suffice this NFL off-season.
