NFL QB prediction #2: Jameis Winston staying with Saints

Jameis Winston had a 5-2 record as the New Orleans Saints starter in the 2021 season. It looked like the former number one pick in his draft finally found a home.

The Saints looked promising and then Winston tore his ACL vs the Buccaneers in week 8. Winston had over 1100 yards and was looking on track to have a turnaround on the turnover department.

Winston had 14 touchdowns and three interceptions before the injury. After the injury, the Saints finished the season 4-6 and missed the playoffs.

Jameis deserves another shot at being the franchise quarterback for the Saints this NFL off-season. With Michael Thomas set to finally come back and Alvin Kamara still being himself, the Saints don’t have much to lose with already losing their legendary coach Sean Payton
