No. 2 Best landing spot for Aaron Rodgers: Cleveland Browns

I want to get something out of the way. I think Baker Mayfield deserves another season. What happened last year wasn’t indicative of who he is as a player. However, if the Cleveland Browns have a chance to get the greatest quarterback in the NFL, this side of Tom Brady, they should. And with any team on this list. It doesn’t matter what it takes to get him in Cleveland.

The Browns vastly underachieved last season with an 8-9 record given their 2020 playoff success. Injuries and lack of continuity on the offense held them back. With Aaron Rodgers, that won’t be a problem. The Pro Bowl quarterback is good enough for at least four more wins.

With that said, trading three first-round picks and two third-round picks kicks off the conversation. Maybe they throw in Grant Delpit or Greedy Williams to sweeten the pot.

Rodgers will step into a situation with a good defense with the potential to be great. He also has a ready-made offensive line. In fact, the Browns ranked eight among all teams by PFF.

He’ll have arguably the best duo in the NFL as his running backs. They could easily attract a player like Allen Robinson to [air with Jarvis Landry and Donavan Peoples-Jones. He’d have to compete with Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow for the AFC North crown, but it’s Aaron bleeping Rodgers.
