3 Kyler Murray landing spots if he forces his way out of Arizona
Kyler Murray landing spot #3: Las Vegas Raiders
What is Josh McDaniels scheming with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022?
It’s hard to know at this point whether or not McDaniels will be keeping Derek Carr in place as his starting quarterback for 2022 and beyond.
I think it’s fair to speculate because there were already questions about whether or not Derek Carr would be back with the Raiders in 2022 before noted quarterback trader Josh McDaniels came to Vegas.
All kidding aside, any time there is a new general manager (Dave Ziegler) and head coach with any team, a quarterback change is almost certain to follow. Will that be the case for the 2022 Raiders?
We’ll see.
As for this very hypothetical scenario, what about sending Kyler Murray to the Raiders for Derek Carr and a bounty of picks?
That trade may not excite Cardinals fans all that much, but it would certainly put a better alternative in place than most other teams could offer.
All of this to say, the most likely motivation of Murray unfollowing the Cardinals on social media is contract-related.
If it’s not, then we had all better buckle in for some fun fireworks in the 2022 offseason. If Cardinals GM Steve Keim and head coach Kliff Kingsbury are on thin ice, then this kind of issue could be detrimental.
