Chicago Bears Free Agent Target No.5: OT Cam Robinson

At first glance, you may scratch your head. Isn’t he currently on the Jaguars roster? Yes, but with Walker Little right behind him and potentially Evan Neal coming into town in April, Robinson may be given his walking papers and be allowed to hit the open market.

Again, this is purely speculation, and there is the potential he returns to Jacksonville.

If he hits the open market, Robinson should be a prime target for the Bears. At 26 years old, he is a young, fast, and aggressive offensive lineman who has endured both the ups and downs during his tenure in Jacksonville. His rookie season featured a berth in the AFC Championship game; there is no need to say who they lost to.

Since then, despite his physical gifts, he never really found himself playing in a healthy environment or even having the best teaching per se.

In Chicago, you would think it would be more of the same, that is if the previous regime were still in charge. This time, it involves teachers who made their bread and butter on the line of scrimmage.

It may not be top dollar worthy, but he most certainly warrants an investment by the Bears if they wish to be serious about protecting Justin Fields.
