Allen Robinson destination #2: Philadelphia Eagles

To many NFL fans, the Philadelphia Eagles took an unexpected step forward in the 2021 season.

Jalen Hurts looked like he might be able to solidify himself as the QB of the present and future. DeVonta Smith established himself as the WR1 in the Eagles’ offense and this team was able to rest starters in the final week of the season with a playoff berth clinched.

Even though this roster looks drastically different than the one that won a Super Bowl just a handful of years ago, the Eagles appear to be on the upswing.

Allen Robinson would represent a much-needed upgrade opposite DeVonta Smith as the Eagles have not gotten what they hoped for from former first-round pick Jalen Reagor.

In addition to bringing some experience to the table, Allen Robinson would bring a nice contrast in style and obviously size with DeVonta Smith, and he can dominate some of the one-on-one matchups he would get with Smith really drawing a lot of attention.

Robinson played his college ball at Penn State, so he could return to the state of Pennsylvania to play the final “prime” years of his NFL career and help get the Eagles back into Super Bowl contention.

This kind of move would be great for the development of Jalen Hurts and could be a huge difference-maker for the Eagles.
