Tom Brady destination No. 1: San Francisco 49ers

Every kid that loves football dreams about one day wearing the uniform of their favorite team and leading them to a Super Bowl trophy. For someone such as Brady who has played until his mid-40s, he clearly has always had a deep love for the game and was no doubt picturing himself in a certain uniform for much of his youth.

It’s no secret that Brady grew up a huge fan of the San Francisco 49ers — we’ve all seen the pictures of him attending games where he was cheering on his hometown team. There has also been speculation throughout the years that he could one day wear the red and gold while trying to bring the Niners back to glory.

That’s why the top team that could lure Brady out of retirement is the 49ers, and they could also make a trade offer that might appeal to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Currently, the Niners have Jimmy Garoppolo, who was coincidentally Brady’s backup at one point in New England. Jimmy G could be offered in a trade to bring Brady home and both teams would seemingly be happy as the Bucs would have a new starter while the 49ers would get a shot at winning it all with Brady and a stacked roster.

Of course, the one hang-up is Trey Lance who they took No. 3 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. While they do want to turn things over to him, adding Brady would be worth putting off that transition for one more season.
