The Los Angeles Rams won’t have any first-round picks, but their win in Super Bowl LVI solidified the first-round order of the 2022 NFL Draft.

The Los Angeles Rams are Super Bowl champions, and they got there in a relatively unconventional way. The Rams have not made a first-round selection in the NFL Draft since the 2016 NFL Draft when they took Jared Goff first overall. The 2022 NFL Draft will be no different.

The Rams spent their first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft on quarterback Matthew Stafford, who helped lead the team to its first Super Bowl title under head coach Sean McVay.

Although the Rams won’t have a first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, they will have the ability to pop the champagne during the first round knowing all of their investments in proven veteran players paid off in the most important way.

Unfortunately for the Cincinnati Bengals and their fans, the Super Bowl ended in disappointment. The Bengals did an incredible job this season and should be proud of the progress they made in such a short amount of time, but that loss is going to sting for a while.

With that 31st overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Bengals are really going to need to look at prioritizing the offensive line.

I know that was a contentious talking point in 2021 and the decision to go with Ja’Marr Chase was a very good one.

With that being said, Joe Burrow has been hit far too many times in his first couple of NFL seasons including a hit that resulted in a torn ACL in 2020 as well as some scary hits in the Super Bowl against the Rams.

The good news for the Bengals is, this is a fantastic class of offensive linemen.
