player. Scouting Report. CB. Clemson. Andrew Booth, Jr.. 21. 47. Pick Analysis

21. New England Patriots: Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson

Somehow, someone voted for Mac Jones as the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Yes, Jones did incredibly well for the New England Patriots, but whoever voted him over Ja’Marr Chase clearly never watched Ja’Marr Chase play for the Bengals.

Back to Jones, he was a great player and the future is bright for him. But what really helps him is the way the Patriots build an entire team and don’t just lean on the quarterback — which is weird considering they spent 20 years with the best in the business.

Still, they have a solid defense and it gets even better with Andrew Booth, Jr. being their selection here. The Pats have J.C. Jackson hitting free agency so they will either be replacing him with Booth or signing him to a massive deal and boasting an elite secondary.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 22. C. Iowa. Tyler Linderbaum. player. 28

22. Las Vegas Raiders: Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa

With a new coach in charge, it’s anyone’s guess what the Las Vegas Raiders will be doing —especially since Josh McDaniels is such a wild card. In this mock, they add Tyler Linderbaum from Iowa who is the best center in the class.

He’s one of the smarter players in the class and adding him shores up the middle of the line for the Raiders who have a pretty solid roster and can use some fine-tuning.
