2022 NFL Mock Draft: 3 Round mock following Super Bowl LVI
By Randy Gurzi
25. Buffalo Bills: Devonte Wyatt, DT, Georgia
The Georgia front-seven was absolutely dominant this season which is why so many of them ended up in the first round of this 2022 NFL Mock Draft. Their depth will be tested with so many turning pro but those players are all expected to be big-time players at the next level.
One of those projected stars is Devonta Wyatt who lands with the Buffalo Bills at No. 25. Buffalo has an elite offense, thanks in large part to Josh Allen being one of the best in the game right now, but they need more depth on defense, which was seen when they couldn’t make a stop against the Chiefs with a shot at the AFC Championship on the line.
Wyatt put up 113 tackles, 12 for a loss, and five sacks in four seasons but really came on strong in 2021. He’s improved every season and has his best football ahead of him.
26. Tennessee Titans: Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State
The Tennessee Titans can use some more depth on the offensive line and Charles Cross practically falls into their laps here. He’s more of a left tackle which is where Taylor Lewan plays now but Cross is simply too good to pass at this point.
