Help is on the way at WR for Bucs in 2022 NFL mock draft

Ohio State. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. Chris Olave. 27. player. 48

27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could look vastly different in 2022 with Tom Brady calling it a career. In addition to this, they could lose Rob Gronkowski and Chris Godwin as well. In an effort to re-tool their offense amid all the departures, the Bucs bring in Chris Olave.

Originally considered a first-round pick in 2021, Olave returned for one more season and improved his stock. However, he might end up being taken around the same spot simply due to how strong this class is.

Olave comes in after some other big-name receivers but he’s more than capable of playing alongside Mike Evans and keeping this offense on task.

Scouting Report. DeMarvin Leal. player. 49. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Texas AM. 28

28. Green Bay Packers: DeMarvin Leal, EDGE, Texas A&M

There’s a chance the Green Bay Packers could go for a wide receiver — who are we kidding, they’re not taking a wideout. They should, but for whatever reason, they won’t spend premium picks on the position.

Instead, they bolster the defensive line as they take DeMarvin Leal from Texas A&M. The good news is, they land a player who has talent much greater than where he lands here (pick No. 28). Leal is a 290-pound defensive end but moves like a man 40-pounds lighter and he can really get after the quarterback.

With Green Bay, he likely plays edge on their three-man line and will help tremendously in that role.
