2022 NFL mock draft: Picks 41-48

41. Seattle Seahawks: Nicholas Petit-Frere, OT, Ohio State

No one drafts offensive linemen as much as the Seattle Seahawks do — and since they never use premium picks on the position, they just keep throwing darts. Their latest is used on Nicholas Petit-Frere from Ohio State, who could end up being a solid option even if he never becomes a superstar.

42. Washington Commanders: Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida

Kaiir Elam has NFL bloodlines as his father and uncle made it to the NFL. He lands with the Washington Commanders, a team that hopes to rebound from a disappointing 2021 campaign.

43. Atlanta Falcons: Kingsley Enagbare, EDGE, South Carolina

There was a time when Kingsley Enagbare looked to be a Round 1 pick but he was surpassed by several other pass-rushers. He still has all the tools and at 260-pounds, he won’t be pushed around. In Atlanta, he fills a massive need and could see the field early.

44. Cleveland Browns: Drake Jackson, EDGE, USC

Even if the Cleveland Browns get Jadeveon Clowney back, they need more depth at defensive end. Enter Drake Jackson from USC who has all the physical tools to be a problem, and could pick up some tips from Myles Garrett and possibly Clowney if he’s re-signed.

45. Baltimore Ravens: Kyler Gordon, CB, Washington

Another Washington cornerback gets drafted as the Baltimore Ravens bring in Kyler Gordon. The Huskies produce a lot of defensive backs and Baltimore is hoping they get another stud from this program.

46. Minnesota Vikings: Jaquan Brisker, S, Penn State

Harrison Smith is getting a bit “seasoned” which means the Minnesota Vikings could look for some youth at safety. Enter Jaquan Brisker from Penn State who had 151 tackles and five picks in three seasons.

47. Indianapolis Colts: Tariq Woolen, CB, UTSA

Indianapolis got more from Xavier Rhodes than expected but now they need some youth. That’s why Tariq Woolen makes sense for them at No. 47.

48. Los Angeles Chargers: Perrion Winfrey, DT, Oklahoma

They got a potential game-wrecker in defensive end Jermaine Johnson in the first. Now, they add Perrion Winfrey from Oklahoma as the Los Angeles Chargers make sure to improve their offenisve line in this draft.
