Odell Beckham Jr. landing spot No. 3: New Orleans Saints

One of the top potential landing spots for Odell Beckham Jr. in 2022 has got to be in New Orleans with the Saints.

Beckham is a Louisiana (Baton Rouge) native who played his college football at LSU.

He was pursued as a free agent last year by the Saints and Patriots among other teams, and nearly chose the Saints over the Rams in the first place.

Obviously, in hindsight, he made the correct decision to sign where he did.

With that being said, if Beckham Jr. is going to rehab and come back to play at a high level in 2022, he might want to do it close to home.

He acknowledged during media sessions at the Super Bowl that the fit with the Saints last year was the, “right place, wrong time”.

In the 2022 offseason, signing with the Saints could be the perfect situation. The Saints have wide receiver depth issues behind Michael Thomas, issues that were clearly amplified in the 2021 season when Thomas was out injured.

The Saints have to get out of the salary cap hole they are in and they also have to figure out the QB position, but Beckham returning to the state of Louisiana would make plenty of sense.
