Top 5 steals from the 2021 NFL Draft class

No.5: Spencer Brown, Offensive Tackle, Buffalo Bills (RD: 3 PICK: 93)

Coming out of Northern Iowa, Spencer Brown was deemed a big, athletic, developmental project type of individual who had plenty of talent.

But when inserted into the lineup, Buffalo wound up finding a key cognisant for their offensive line that helped them get to the Divisional Round.

Though Brown did not get into the starting lineup until October, you could see how effective he was throughout the season.

Moreover, it’s why teams are now taking a closer look at his former college teammate Trevor Penning, who is projected to be a high NFL Draft selection in April. Again, it’s not where you come from; it’s what you do with the opportunity when presented.

It’s vital that Buffalo has Brown on a rookie contract, given the payday that QB Josh Allen received. Nevertheless, if the Bills can navigate the salary cap as they have done in the past, there’s a good chance that Brown will continue to be a starter in Orchard Park for a very long time.
