No.4: Michael Carter, Running Back, New York Jets (RD: 4 PICK: 107)

Rhamondre Stevenson was considered for this position, but in the case of Carter, he ran for more yards at 639 and recorded over 300 yards receiving. Also, an argument could be made that the rookie from North Carolina was the best player on offense for Gang Green.

Given that head coach Robert Saleh demands a lot from his running backs, Carter passed the test.

In the fourth round, Carter was selected by the Jets, much to the enjoyment of longtime Jets fan and NFL Network host Rich Eisen, who clamored for New York to pair him with Zach Wilson.

Safe to say, it panned out, and so far, it looks like a good pick that will need more time and more help to expand his growth.

While the Jets are still feeding at the bottom of the division, this past draft produced a number of players with high upside. If Carter continues his growth, there is a good chance he will finally get noticed by the entire league instead of taking a backseat to other hot names.
