2022 NFL Quarterback predictions for the NFC West

Los Angeles Rams: Matthew Stafford

Of all the trades the Los Angeles Rams have made in the last six years — and they have made a lot of them — the Matthew Stafford trade will go down as easily the best and certainly the biggest bargain.

For the price of a few draft picks that are borderline negligible and Jared Goff, the Los Angeles Rams got the guy who could take them over the top into the victor’s circle.

Matthew Stafford wasn’t perfect all season long. He wasn’t perfect in the Super Bowl.

But he was exactly what the Rams needed.

Stafford’s arrival in Los Angeles has given the Rams a legitimate chance to compete for a long period of time. The fact that he started off his time with the Rams as a Super Bowl Champion is a sign of great things to come, and honestly, it’s easy to see things getting even better for this squad.

The Rams will have Robert Woods back in the fold in 2022. They can upgrade at the tight end position. They will need to do some reshuffling on the offensive line with Andrew Whitworth riding off into the sunset, but there is potential here for the Rams to put together a little dynasty if they can keep the core of this roster intact.
